Short Description
Pitchstar is a pitch black tom with bright yellow eyes.
Long Description
Pitchstar is a tom with short fur. The fur is very very black. It is so black, that it is darker than the night sky unless there is no moon or stars. He is the average size for a cat, but his tail is very long, and it's what shows his expressions the most if at all. His paws are small, and he has long legs. He isn't skinny, but he isn't fat. He has no visible scars, but if you were to remove a bit of his fur on his left flank you would find a long, deep scar that he recieved from his father. His ears are a little round, but they are always pointing to StarClan. His nose is almost as dark as his fur, but not quite. His whiskers are very short and dark. His eyes are the most noticeable feature. They are a bright yellow, and he likes to stare at cats, just to creep them out.

Personality[/i]
Pitchstar is a very calm and thoughtful cat. He never loses his head, unless he is so stressed that he feels the world is crashing on his shoulders. He hates to show his emotions and usually maintains a serious, almost bored look all the time. Under all his seriousness, he is actually a bit shy, but has a lot of leadership characteristics.
Secretly, he yearns a mate, but his shyness increases by ten times around the ladies he likes. Pitchstar loves the dark and the shadows. His favorite time of the year is winter. His favorite color is black. Pitchstar likes to play pranks that he knows he won't get in trouble for. For example, he likes to stare at the apprentices really hard just to creep them out.

Pitchkit was born to Midnightstorm (mother) and Burningsoul (father). He earned a lot of his characteristics from his mother, a pure black she-cat with blue eyes. His bright yellow eyes came from his father, Burningsoul, who was an orange tabby with bright yellow eyes. He had one other sibling who was stillborn. His parents did not give him a name.
Pitchkit grew up much like he is today. Shy, but when needed, a great leader. He was even calm at that age. A lot of cats thought there was something wrong with him because he wasn't as rambunctious as the other kits. His dad, an easily frustrated tom, took him out into the forest one day, and told him to play like a kit. Pitchkit was confused. "But I want to be a warrior," was his response. His dad growled and said, "You want to be a warrior? Fine, fight me." Pitchkit obeyed his father's command. His father got a little carried away, and gave Pitchkit a big, long scar on his left flank. Seeing what he had done to his son, and being so frustrated, Burningsoul ran away. Rumors say he joined WindClan.
Pitchkit eventually grew into Pitchpaw. His mentor, Ebonyheart, a black she-cat much like Pitchpaw, showed him the ways of hiding in the dark and shadows to catch prey. Since then, that has always been Pitchstar's favorite way to hunt. He learned to fight, but doesn't especially favor it. Who would after their father gave them such a scar?
Pitchpaw was made a warrior at 16 moons. His new name was Pitchpelt. He recieved his first and only apprentice, Tabbypaw at the age of 20. Pitchpelt worked hard, harder than other warriors, and was made deputy to Rosestar at the age of 25 moons. With her recent death, Pitchpelt has taken on the name of Pitchstar and is now ShadowClan's true leader.
