Silverpaw looked at the medicene cat's den. It had cracks, large enough to fit herbs in, but small enough not to danger the stability of the cave. There was also a small trickle of water in the side of the den, so they didn't have to go to the lake and save time when dealing with patients. Silverpaw knew that they had the best medicene cat's den. How could any clan have a better place to stash their herbs? She couldn't wait in till Chole came back from the Moonpool. She wondered what the snowy cat's new name will be. Cloudfur? Snowleaf? Whatever it is, it'll be pretty. She thought. She couldn't wait to be her apprentince, loner or not she knew Chole would be a loyal addition to the clan.

Roughpelt was wandering around the camp when he saw Silverpaw enter the medicine cat den.Being the new deputy he decided to go and see if they needed herbs,or bedding.The apprentices had to do something right."Hello Silverpaw,like your new den?You are a very lucky cat to become a medicine cats apprentice.If you need anything just say the word."He sat down and waited.He still had other things to do,but he didnt know where to start at the moment.

((Oh really? Okaay...)) "I'm fine, thanks Roughpelt." She mewed, sitting down in the den. She hadn't had time to get any moss for their nests, but Silverpaw decided to get them later. It wasn't like anyone was going to bed anytime soon.

Roughpelt noded as the she cat said that they were fine for the moment.He got up and immediatly began to think of the other duties that he was supposed to asign and start.He was pretty overwhelmed at the moment,but he guessed that it came with the job.He sighed he was going to get the hang of it sooner or later.He thought he should at least say something else to Silverpaw."Well if you need anything let me know,and i shall see to it."With that out of the way he noded again and walked back out into the center of camp.He still had to make a hunting patrol and he needed to clear his mind so that he could think.

"Okay, bye!" Silverpaw called after him. She watched the deputy walk away into the clearing. Roughpelt seemed to have a lot on his mind. Silverpaw wondered how he could cope with all of that responsibility to the clan. But then again, she and Chole had tons of responsiblities too. They couldn't make mistakes when treating patients. Silverpaw yawned, wondering what to do now.

Chloe walked into the medicine cat den. She was perky and was ready as ever. The day was great and so was the weather. She was going to go out and collect some needed herbs. They were running a bit low. She was surpised to see Silverpaw when she walked in. Chloe didn't know Silverpaw that well; but she did know the young she-cat was interested in herbs. "Hi Silverpaw", Chloe said with happiness in her voice. She smiled. "Nice day huh?". She walked over to where they kept the herbs. 'Yep', she thought, 'I defitntley need to get some new herbs. And fast'. Even tho leafbare was almost over, her clanmates could still get sick. "Silverpaw.. We need some new herbs. I was thinking that if you wanted to come with me to go get some, I could teach you some things". She grinned. Chloe liked Silverpaw.

"That'll be great!" She mewed. Silverpaw couldn't wait to go, for this would be her first time out of camp. But, she managed to stay calm. "We should also get moss for some nests." The silver tabby told her mentor, pointing to the hard, bare ground with her tail.

Chloe smiled; she was glad her apprentice was exiteded. Chloe sort of jumped up a little bit. She was happy and was way perky. "Good!", she said happily. Chloe looked around. They didn't have much moss and most of it was old. "Thats true Silverpaw, good job. We should go tell Birchstar or Roughpelt that were going out for a bit".
