ThunderClan is getting stronger. Kits are being born, kits made into apprentices, apprentices made to warriors. Every change in our clan helps our clan become stronger. Each day we fight, and each day we thrive. And now, as many of you know, we have gained a new medicine cat. Her name is Chloe. But we also have a new cat to welcome into our highest ranks. I have been observing this cat for quite a while, and this cat has definitaly earned the rank.
I say these words before StarClan so that they may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of ThunderClan is Roughpelt." Birchstar grinned, and she felt proud, and the New-Leaf sun shone on her pelt, warming the cat up. Her eyes glimmered in joy, and with a deep sigh, she realized- ThunderClan had become strong. They had survived Leaf-Bare, and lived this long. Ah yes... this was a memorable day indeed. She leaped off the High Ledge, and she followed Chloe into the deep underbrush, awaiting the Moonpool.

CHLOE** **MEDICINE CAT OF THUNDERCLAN** Chloe stared up at Birchstar. Chloe admired her. She nodded her head and followed Birchstar to the Moonpool. Chloe's paws tingled with exitement. If Starclan accepted her, Chloe would live with Thunderclan. All of them would learn to accept her. She would have a family, to love, and take care of. She would finally be whole. |

Roughpelt heard his leader and felt pride well inside him.The clan has grown strong.Hopefully i can lead them well.He looks around at the cats and sees his friend Falconclaw staring at him praising his success.He had to do his best for the whole clan.He was glad that he was chosen to be the new deputy,and he was glad that the clan now had a medicine act.He would see that she got the respect she deserved."Thank you Birchstar,I will do my best and congradulations to Chloe as well.May Starclan always watch over you, and guide you."

**CHLOE** **MEDICINE CAT OF THUNDERCLAN** Chloe nodded to Roughpelt. "Thank you", She said while smiling, "Congrats on being appointed deputy. I can tell she chose the right cat". Chloe also nodded to Falconclaw. "Nice to meet you". She looked at Tabbykit and grinned. The little kit was funny. She nodded to them again and ran after Birchstar, she was on her way to the Moonpool. She was never going to get him to eat any herbs. |

Falconclaw saw Tabbykit flatten his ears and she flicked his ears with her tail lightly."Be nice Tabbykit".She may save your life someday.
Flamekit ran at Falconclaw and pounced on her tail."Run Tabbykit"Flamekit bounded back to the nursury.

Tabbykit rolled his eyes. He saw Flamekit run out and pounce on her tail. He smiled. "Dont worry, he's just playing". He ran to the nursery and attacked his brother. He loved play fighting.

Celestialkit came over and looked at Roughpelt. Celestialkit, often confined into the nursery, didn't know Roughpelt, and thought he was a loner.

"Who are you?" She hissed, fluffing up her pelt in rage. Birchstar was a leader, for StarClan sake, and she kept poisoning the clan with loners and kittypets!

Birchstar padded over to Celestialkit and gave her a gentle prod in the side.
~
"Roughpelt. Didn't you know? He's been a loyal warrior for a long time, and know I feel he is loyal enough to be leader when I pass on. He's deputy." Birchstar mewed softly, feeling the kit's rage expand. But the little kit just smiled angelically and walked away in a fit.

Birchstar smiled slightly.

"Congratulations, Roughpelt. I know you will serve this clan right. But being deputy is a huge responbility. Think about this, and how this will just add up to your responsibilities already, as a warrior of ThunderClan. Prepare yourself. Just remember, ThunderClan trusts you." Birchstar said, starting to head out. She turned her head slightly.

"Feel free to congratulate Roughpelt after me." She meowed, before signaling to Chloe to follow her.
