(sorry  ) Sunsetstar ~ Sunsetstar relized he wasn't giving Swiftpaw enough credit. Sunsetstar did want to be his friend and not just a mentor. "Great job Swiftpaw. Your legs have exllent muscles. You did a great job catching that bird". Sunsetstar smiled, but then sighed. "Serpentpaw, fight Swiftpaw". He flicked his tail, showing them they could start. |

Serpentpaw couldnt believe how high Swiftpaw could jump.He was not about to show how impressed he was though.He growled a little as Swiftpaw challenged him.When Sunsetstar told them that they could fight he almost jumped at they opportunity.He didnt have a problem with Swiftpaw at first, but if he wanted to start something , then he would glady show him how mousebrained he was.Serpentpaw was not really skilled in fighting but he had more training and even tthough he was a swift sleak cat he was slightly bigger than Swiftpaw.He crouched down and began to circle Swiftpaw deciding where to attack him first.

SkyClan Apprentice [/u][/i][/right] Swiftpaw stood up. His muscles pulsed, adrenaline was running purely through his body. However much his body felt ready for this, Swiftpaw himself wasn't sure he was ready for this. I haven't had as much training as Serpentpaw. How can I beat him? These thoughts traveled through his head, but he shook them out. I can do it if I think positive. I'm smaller than him. Maybe my swift and sleek body figure will help.
Swiftpaw prepared himself. He watched Serpentpaw. There was no way Swiftpaw was going to make the first move. He only knew the moves the older apprentices had taught him when he was a kit. He watched, his brown eyes always on the other apprentice. A growl escaped his throat, challenging Sepentpaw to come near. |

Serpentpaw continued to circle Swiftpaw looking for an opening. Then he heard the low and challenging growl.So he want me to start then, alright i have always liked the more direct approce more anyway.I will show this cat that it is not smart to challenge me.Maybe Sunsetstar will reward me too. He passed by Swiftpaw`s left side and then dashed around to his back and leapt towards his scruff, hoping to land on his back and end the fight quickly by throwing him into the dirt.Let`s see him dodge this move. I hope he will be a challenge or else i might get bored.

SkyClan Apprentice [/i][/u][/right] Swiftpaw watched carefully, noticing odd things that possibly might help him. He watched the pattern of Serpentpaw's feet, memorized it, and noticed when it got faster as he charged at Swiftpaw's scruff from behind him. Swiftpaw knew he was to attack. Swiftpaw charged forward. Instead of Serpentpaw landing on his scruff, Swiftpaw felt the weight land on his bottom, and he was forced to sit down for a second. He swerved his chest around, so he could see Serpentpaw.
Swiftpaw's mind was charged, full with adrenaline, as was the rest of his body. He hesitated only a second as he decided which move would be best to act upon. He finally moved his paws, extended his claws, and slashed at Serpentpaw's face. Hopefully he could leave some sort of mark, or even better a scar. |

Serpentpaw was taken by surprise when Swiftpaw moved forward and sat down before he could pin him.Hmm looks like he is not stupid after all. He was about to counter himself when he felt unsheathed claws rake the side of his face.Blood covered his left cheek and right above his eye,which Swiftpaw had barely missed. Serpentpaw jumped backwards his fur felt hot with pain,and his mind felt like it was on fire.
Without even bothering to let Swiftpaw explain himself Serpentpaw hurled his body at him full force,forgetting about battle forms and playing fair. He hated the tabby cat now, and he wanted to knock the tabbys pelt off for inflicting him with the wound and nearly taking his left eye out. Running at full speed with his left eye partially blinded by blood he thundered towards Swiftpaw intent on doing as much damage as possible.That is probably going to scar too! Driven by his anger he was not about to stop.

SkyClan Apprentice [/i][/u][/right] Swiftpaw gazed on in horror at the blood welling from above Serpentpaw's eye. What had he done? I shouldn't have done that. This is a training session! What was I thinking? Thoughts like these seemed to echo throughout Swiftpaw's head. His mouth hung open, and fear and worry showed in his eyes. Swiftpaw doubted that Serpentpaw saw the look that Swiftpaw was making.
Serpentpaw charged. Swiftpaw got up, and ran off. He sheathed his claws as he ran, hoping that that would be enough to stop himself should another opportunity to hurt his clanmate. Sure Serpentpaw was his enemy, but the sight of blood had awakened Swiftpaw to what had happened to himself. Around others, he had the worst attitude, and even worse behaviour. How could he get away from it? Swiftpaw looked over his shoulder. It seemed that they were going about the same pace, what with Serpentpaw's longer legs and Swiftpaw's speed. But if Serpentpaw leaped, there was a fairly good chance he would make it onto Swiftpaw's back, successfully this time. |

Still in shock the angry Serpentpaw continued to run after Swiftpaw. In his mind Swiftpaw was definatly his enemy now. He was runnig after him because he wanted to get back at the little pain in his pelt for always trying to make him look bad, and now this. Serpentpaw couldn`t even think straight. His heart was pounding and his head burned. All he knew was that Swiftpaw was going to get it.The only thing that could keep him form attacking Swiftpaw was Sunsetstar, but they were way ahead of her now.He wants to fight, well he shall get one.
His blood was still seeping from the wounds on his face. All his senses were telling him to stop chasing Swiftpaw, and focus on his injury before it could get any worse. If it had been an injury from any other cat, but it was not. Swiftpaw had been bugging him for a while now, but this pushed him over the edge.
Looking at the cat in front of him, he judged the distance as closely as he could, and lept for Swiftpaw`s back claws unsheathed and fully intent on tripping the cat."Grrr,yow!!!!!!!!"

SkyClan Apprentice [/i][/u][/right] Swiftpaw tried to go faster, but his energy was waning. He hadn't eaten much this morning. As he looked over his shoulder once more, he saw Serpentpaw leaping, coming ever closer. Then Serpentpaw landed, dead on his target this time, on Swiftpaw's back. Swiftpaw saw the glint of claws, and knew that Serpentpaw had unsheathed his. Swiftpaw looked down to make sure his were still in his paws. The next thing he saw was the soil in his face. Serpentpaw's weight pressed him into the dirt. He pulled up his face.
Swiftpaw's anger returned, for he was unable to control it any longer. His eyes turned a tint darker, and his face got red. His claws extended, long and sharp, almost shiny in the light. They longed for the shedding of blood, and Swiftpaw's whole brain tipped over. It was almost a need, instead of a want. He had to inflict wounds upon this worthless cat. It's for the good of the clan... he added in his head.
Swiftpaw twisted and turned under Serpentpaw's grasp, unaware of the wounds that Serpentpaw's claws had done as of yet. He squeezed his eyes shut most of the way, and thrashed - hard as possible - with his claws blindly at Serpentpaw. He fought with his back paws, too, whose claws were unsheathed as well. Swiftpaw hissed the whole time, occasionally cursing Serpentpaw's name. "Get off!" he said as he fought. |

Sunsetstar Sunsetstar was enjoying the two young tomcats battle fight. But as soon as one of them brought their claws out, that fight was over. Sunsetstar leaped in and grabbed Serpentpaw by the scruff, pushing Swiftpaw further away with much force. "Now you two stop it right now!", he growled. "We do not need more herbs wasted on unnesary battle! Both of you know better than to use your claws! This is NOT a real battle!", Sunsetstar scloded them. "You both should know better!". He looked at both of them, a fire in his eyes. "You are both apprentices not kits any longer! If you want to become warriors, then start acting like you will desrve to become warriors!". Sunsetstar let his fur lie flat. "Now lets catch something to bring back to the clan, and no more fighting do you understand me?". Sunsetstar seperated the two, making both of them hunt in diffrent spots. When they were all done hunting, they headed back to camp. |

SkyClan Apprentice [/i][/u][/right] Swiftpaw tried to fight against Sunsetstar, but forced himself to sheathe his claws. He surely didn't want to hurt his leader, of all cats! He hissed at Serpentpaw. "He wouldn't have beaten me anyway." He spat at the ground.
When Sunsetstar wasn't watching, Swiftpaw stuck out his tongue at Serpentpaw. Then he turned, and sniffed the air to hunt prey. When he had a nice pile of his own, he followed Sunsetstar back to camp, carrying all his prey in his jaws. If his mouth hadn't been full, he would have been cursing Serpentpaw's name the whole way. Why couldn't the apprentice just go away? |

Sunsetstar growled alittle at both of the apprentices. Sunsetstar forced his fur to lie flat. He made sure after both of the apprentices hunted, they were seperated. Serpentpaw was on his left side, and Swiftpaw on his right. He headed back to camp with both of the apprentices.
