Sunsetstar jumped onto the Big Broken Boulder. His leg muscles lurched, he had always been a great jumper. Getting onto high places was no problem. He was aware that there was a new apprentice to be made. Swiftkit. He sat down on the BBB, and started licking his paw for a moment. And the gathering would be soon. He would need to decide who would go. And patrols. The clan needed fresh-kill. He took a breath and began; "All cats who can catch their own prey, come to the Big Broken Boulder for a clan meeting!". He waited for at least almost all of his clanmates to appear. "As you all know, we have one little kit who is ready to be made an apprentice". He flicked his tail in Swiftkit's derection. "Swiftkit, please come up here". He waited for Swiftkit to come up. "Do you promise to listen to your mentor and to train as hard as you can to be a warrior?". He waited for his answer. "Ok Swiftkit, from this day forward until you get your warrior name you will known as Swiftpaw. Your mentor will be... me, Sunsetstar". He nodded his head to Swiftpaw and touched his nose to his. When Swiftpaw was down with the rest of the clan, Sunsetstar started again. "The gathering is coming soon. I'm still decieding who will go. I need cats to go on patrols. Any volenteers?".

Serpentpaws pelt bristled with excitment.He could rememmber the day he became an apprentice.It is an amazing feeling.Since then he had been dreaming about what he would be like as a warrior.He vowed a long time ago to be the best ever.He stared at the sky as the ceremony began and Sunsetstar called the cats.He became lost in thoughts of his family.What were they doing now?He often wondered if they recieved second chances in Starclan.He hoped so.It was the only way he could ever see his family again.He realizes that Swiftkit has been given her name and is now Swiftpaw.He he cheers with the clan."Swiftpaw,Swiftpaw"He hears Sunsetstar mention a patrol and he immediatly answers."I would like to come."

Sunsetstar stared at Serpantpaw and reambered he needed a mentor. "Until we find a mentor for Serpantpaw, I will train him with Swiftpaw". He took a breath. "And for the hunting patrol, I shall bring Swiftpaw and Serpantpaw". He jumped off of the Big Broken Boulder and signaled his apprentices.

[glow=beige,2,300]Sanddune walked out of the warriors den slowly. He had had a rough night. He didn't sleep very well. He yawned and streched his muscles. He heard Sunsetstar call a clan meeting and sat down near the back of the rest of his clan. He wondered who Sunsetstar would choose for deputy. It was about time he did.[/glow]

Curiouskit peeked her head out of the nursery. Her mom was asleep and she wanted to see her father. Her big blue eyes opened wide as Sunsetstar jumped onto the big broken boulder. She wondered what he was going to say. She soon spotted her father near the back of the clan. Her blue berry eyes brightned. "Daddy!!", She called. She ran to him and ran underneath his paws. He licked the top of her head. "Shhhhh Curiouskit", He said smoothly, "The meetings going to start". She looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back. She loved his smile.

Breezeheart paused to listen to Sunsetstar.

"Lucky to become his apprentice." He told himself stiffly, before joining Serpentpaw and calling out Swiftpaw's name. The warrior didn't want to dampen the apprentice's spirit by acting like a grump, so he reluctantly joined in the cheering.

"Congrats Swiftpaw!" He yowled, louder then Serpentpaw. In reality though, Breezeheart didn't really appeal to Swiftpaw. To him, Swiftpaw was just a normal apprentice, nothing more. Breezeheart started to pad away, before his conscience started to bug him. Turning back, he thought,

Maybe Sunsetstar has something else to say other then to announce that brat's apprenticeship. He sat down, flicking his ears to listen if Sunsetstar had anything else to say.

Rabbitleg yawned and sat down to see if his leader would say more.Swiftpaw was not the best behaved apprentice and Rabbitleg was glad he was not his to worry about.He wished that he were fit to be deputy but unfortunatly there were worthier cats.Like Sanddune or Breezeheart.He also needed his own apprentice still.Serpentpaw was lucky to first be trained by Fastclaw ( the now deceased warrior),and then by Sunsetstar and Sanddune.He would turn into a formiddable warrior someday.He only hoped that his own apprentice would be as strong.He stretched and continued to wait and see if his leader would say anything else.

Whoa... why is Swiftpaw having an apprentice ceremony? When I made him, he was already an apprentice...
