Claws flashed towards Rosestar and the stench of badgers and blood was in the air. Not just any blood but the blood of Nightcloud. She could see the gapping cut in her sister's throat and the blood pouring out and the badgers looming above her, growling menacingly.

"NO!" Rosestar cried out as she was jolted awake by her own fears. She shook herself mentally and physically as she realized what had happened. "Just a dream, a very bad dream." She muttered to herself and stood up out of her nest. It was almost sunhigh already. "Wow, I should have woken up already," she muttered under her breathe as she left her den and entered the clearing, the sun was nearly directly over head and air felt quiet warm. Everything is ok. It's just another day and there is peace within the clan, she thought to herself as she began calming herself mentally.

Twilightpaw yawned as she stepped out of the apprentices den. She snapped out of her tiredness as she saw Rosestar, in the center of camp, alone. 'Yes!', She yelled in her mind, 'Finally mabye she'll give me a mentor. Or better, mabye she'll be my mentor'. Twilightpaw smiled. She had a horrible kitthood. And no one ever knew besides her siblings. She shook her head, forgetting the thought. She padded up to Rosestar, "Hi", She said sitting nest to her.
