[glow=orange,2,300] [shadow=yellow,left,300]Sunsetstar [/shadow][/glow] Sunsetstar walked into camp with Swiftpaw and Serpentpaw. Their hunting patrol had been good. He carried a mouse and a blue jay in his mouth. His apprentices did well. But Sunsetstar couldn't train two apprentices. Serpentpaw needed a mentor that could teach him what he needed to learn. Not what he had already learned. Swiftpaw was a new apprentice. Sunsetstar needed to teach him everything. He put his fresh kill down and jumped on the big broken boulder. "Everyone who can catch their own prey, come to the big broken boulder for a clan meeting". He waited for his clan to come and began again. "We have a mentorless apprentice. Sanddune, you did well training Sunjay, it is time for your secound apprentice. You will be the mentor of Serpentpaw". He waited for Sanddune to come up and touch noses with his new apprentice. Sunsetstar took a breath and began again. "There will be a patrol around the Windclan boarder. I will lead it, Sanddune and Serpentpaw and Swiftpaw will come too. Feathersong may come if she wants. To collect herbs". He nodded his head towrds her. "We have one apprentice who needs to be made a warrior(no one plays him yet. he's up for adoption). Fishpaw please come up here". He waited for Fishpaw to come up. "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code even at the cost of your life?". He waited for him to reply. "Ok. By the powers of Starclan I give you a warrior name. Your new name will be Fishscale. Skyclan honors your loayaty and kindness". He licked the top of head.[glow=beige,2,300] Sanddune [/glow] Sanddunes pale yellow eyes wided as Sunsetstar said he was now the new mentor of Serpentpaw. He moved therw his clanmates, aware of their eyes. He jumped onto the big broken boulder with eass. He smiled a little akwardly at his new apprentice as he touched noses. He nodded to him and then climed down and sat back down by his daughter.[glow=beige,2,300] Curiouskit [/glow] Curiouskit cheered for Fishscale as he got his name. She was hoping he would sit by her and her dad after, but instead he sat by his friends. She bursted for joy as her father got annouced as Serpentpaws mentor. |

Serpentpaw was pleased with his new mentor.He hoped that Sanddune could teach him alot about being a good warrior.He also was interested in the new warrior fishscale.He had practiced with him a few times and he was good.He didnt like him much yet.He couldnt wait for his own warrior ceremony.He went and sat by his mentor.

"Actully Breezeheart is Serpentpaws mentor. Not Sanddune. Sorry Sanddune, i wasn't thinking. And Breezheart, your on the Windclan boarder patrol with me, sanddune, swiftpaw, serpentpaw, and feathersong". Sunsetstar breathed in a glup of fresh air.

After the ceremony was over, Hawkflight shrunk away from the rest of the group. He padded by the chatting warrior and apprentinces, and walked into the den.

Curiouskit looked behind her and wondered why Hawkflight just slunked away into the shadows. He always seemed to be sad. It made her sad. Curiouskit wondered why her father didn't get to be Serpentpaws mentor. Curiouskit shrugged it off. It didn't matter. Her daddy didn't looked like minded.

SkyClan Apprentice [/u][/right] Swiftpaw smiled. Training with Sunsetstar had been a little fun this time. He just wished he didn't have to spend so much time around Serpentpaw. No offense to him really, it's just that Swiftpaw felt so uncomfortable around others. He preferred to be by himself. He was about to head back into the forest, just to do a little solo hunting, when Sunsetstar started a meeting. "Another one?" he complained quietly. He ran over, and listened. He was glad that Serpentpaw had a real mentor now. But then more news washed over him, he was to go on a patrol. He sighed, Being the leader's apprentice isn't all it's made out to be...
Swiftpaw only slightly cheered for Fishscale. It was just another one of the apprentices made a warrior, not unusual at all. He waited for the rest of the group to meet him at the entrance of camp before darting off. If anyone asked why he kept darting ahead when the group came near, he would say he was scouting ahead, just to make sure. Even though the real answer would be, "I'm scared." What a silly excuse! he thought. I'm such a scaredy-cat. ;;Feathersong;;
SkyClan Medicine Cat [/u][/b][/right] Feathersong came out of the medicine cat den. No one from the clan was in the herb den, which was good. But even then, the supplies were running low. Leaf-bare had been a harsh one on the herbs she had collected the previous leaf-fall. The meeting began. Usual thoughts and ceremonies were made, ones Feathersong had seen thousands of times. She was invited to go on a patrol, mostly to collect herbs, but Feathersong wondered if there was another reason too. Perhaps Sunsetstar had something to tell her. She hadn't heard from StarClan for awhile... Oh please Feathersong, get your head in the right spot! If he needed to tell you something, he wouldn't wait until a patrol to do it! She shrugged to herself, and got herself ready. She never ventured from camp before grooming herself. Finally, she was done, and she slowly walked to the entrance where a seemingly impatient apprentice waited. |

Serpentpaw was anxious and wanted to feel the wind in his fur and the forest beneath his paws.He also wanted to get back at Swiftpaw.There was no way he was going to let Swiftpaw get the better of him during the patrol.He looks over and sees Swiftpaw and Feathersong waiting to leave.He never really talked to Feathersong much before so he decided to.He stared at Swiftpaw as he walked over to them.It was like he was saying dont even try to start anything.He then smiled at Feathersong."Hello Feathersong,lovely day for a patrol.

SkyClan Medicine Cat [/i][/u][/right] Feathersong smiled at Serpentpaw. But she did notice, however, the look Swiftpaw was giving the older apprentice currently. It was one of dislike, hatred, and jealousy. She wondered what was going on between the two apprentices. What is it with toms and fighting? she thought. It seemed a lot of toms in her life fought a lot. "Yeah, it is Serpentpaw. I hope there are some new herbs growing." After a second she added, "If there are a lot, could you help me carry them all?"
Swiftpaw's emotion was obvious now: pure jealousy. "You can help, too, Swiftpaw." Swiftpaw's features softened slightly, but every once in a while, a glare was given to Serpentpaw. She sighed, and turned towards the entrance. Toms... |

Serpentpaw was happy to help Feathersong carry back the herbs,if they found any."Sure i will help you."Then he noticed the look that Swiftpaw was giving him. It looked like he wanted to claw his pelt off. Serpentpaw felt his fur stand straight up and his tail puff out. He let out a threatening growl."What are you looking at me like that for! Your making me uncomfortable. If you want to fight then i will gladly accept."There was no way that he was going to back down from that annoying tabby cat. He just hoped that he did not sound to mean, because Feathersong was there. It was not his fault that the apprentice Swiftpaw had a problem with him.

SkyClan Apprentice [/i][/u][/right] Swiftpaw was surprised at Serpentpaw's little outburst. He wasn't at all scared by the growl however. Swiftpaw just sat up straight and waved his tail around. "Scared by little stares Serpentpaw? And no, I think I'll pass on the fight. If your little brain can remember, we already had battle practice today." Swiftpaw's eyes seemed to bring on a look that would dare Serpentpaw to come closer while the medicine cat watched on. ;;Feathersong;;
SkyClan Medicine Cat [/u][/i][/right] Feathersong turned around abruptly. Serpentpaw was apparently agitated. Swiftpaw sat there calmly however and used sly talk. She rolled her eyes. "Calm down," she told both of them. "I expect you not to fight him Serpentpaw, or I'll have to report your behavoiur to Sunsetstar. You too, Swiftpaw." Feathersong started to look around with a slight impatience for Sunsetstar and Sanddune. She wanted this patrol to get started... before things got more serious with the two tom apprentices. |

Sunsetstar Sunsetstar jumped off of the highrock and into his den. He had the biggest head ache but soon came out relaxed. He went to his apprentice and smiled at him. "Wanna go train or hunt or something? Its about time we start getting more hunting in". He was trying hard to be more friendly towards his apprentice. Sanddune Sanddune was by his daughter. He licked the top of her head. He was secrelty glad he didn't have an apprentice. He didn't really want one right now. He breathed in some air. The day was beautiful out. Curiouskit Curiouskit smiled as her father licked her head. Making it all slimy and gross. She smiled. She thought of being an apprentice. Curiouspaw! She couldn't wait! |

and Sanddune does have an apprentice... change your post so that Sanddune does have an apprentice and so that they leave...
